Councillor Since: 2020
Biography
I have been married for 55 years and have three sons and eight grandchildren. I have lived with my wife in Aston Clinton for the past 6 years having previously lived in Tring for over 20 years.
I am now retired having spent over 40 years in Senior Management in large companies at home and abroad. I also retired as a Presiding Justice in the Youth and Adult Magistrates Courts having spent 20 years sitting in Hertfordshire.
I have been a Parish Councillor since 2020 and believe passionately in the village and its protection from unnecessary speculative development, but I do recognise the need to develop the village within the constrains applied to us by the Government of the day and Bucks Council in a sensitive and appropriate manner.

Biography
I’m relatively new to Aston Clinton, but bring many years of experience in community volunteering. Passionate about fairness, transparency, and action, I have a background in leadership and communications and have supported a wide range of communities. I live locally with my partner and our dog, Ness, and enjoy village life living in one of the newer developments. My two daughters and four grandchildren are at the heart of everything I do, and alongside my community work, I am also a part-time Visiting University Lecturer, a role I feel privileged to hold to help inspire the next generation.

Biography
I have lived in Aston Clinton initially from 2002-2008, in 2015 the pull of the village returned me, and I’ve been here since to the present day.
In June of this year, I welcomed my first grandchild, which only accelerated my desire to put back into this great community.
My working background is in Sales, which has enabled me to gain strong communication and organisational skills.
You will often see me early morning and late at night walking around the village with my Springer Spaniel Molly, please say hi.
I only joined the Parish Council in September 2025, and I am very much looking forward to making a difference in preserving but advancing this great community for everyone.

Biography
I’ve lived in Aston Clinton for 30 years and have brought up three children, all now adults, through the local school, clubs and activities. I’ve lived in villages all my life and appreciate how they provide uniquely valuable surroundings and help build a strong sense of community purpose. Having trained as a scientist, I have spent a varied career applying my knowledge and skills in insurance, construction, manufacturing and on national policy matters. I joined the Parish Council in May 2025 and am keen to help our village organisations and institutions thrive in service to our community, and to ensure the financial contributions we each make are used in the most efficient manner to provide the broadest benefit for our residents.

Biography
I made Aston Clinton home in 2019 with my wife, Hannah, and we now have two young children who are in Aston Clinton's Primary and Pre-School. I started on the Parish Council in 2021, after wanting to do something for the local community to (hopefully) positively impact our great village. I'm a Dad, Parish Councillor, Chartered Civil Engineer, Motorcyclist, Northerner and Odd-Job Tinkerer - not in that or any particular order - and enjoy mucking around with power tools in my spare time. My Parish Council work largely focuses on Planning and Highways issues within the village - which are unfortunately always numerous. Sadly, my children (or Hannah) are not adopting my northern accent.

Biography
I have lived in Aston Clinton for most of my life and I’m passionate about our village. I first became a volunteer in the early 80’s as Treasurer to the local playgroup. I was the park allotment coordinator for many years and through that role I became a member of Aston Clinton Parish council. My interests are varied, but mainly anything to do with animals and the outdoors!

Biography
I've lived in Aston Clinton home since 2021, having grown up around Yorkshire and spent time around the South East and overseas in Australia in the intervening years. Having moved around quite a bit since growing up, we looked long and hard for somewhere to settle as a family and for our three boys to call home. Despite still being a true northerner at heart, we couldn't have found a better place (great people, outstanding coffee shop, brilliant pubs, lovely countryside - what more could you ask for?!).
We've been fortunate to make some incredible friends as we've got to know and love the local community here. As of September, our boys are now all at Aston Clinton Primary School and I also coach football for the U7's at AC Colts. I think the local community groups and organisations around our village are a huge part of what makes Aston Clinton such a special place, I enjoy getting stuck into what's going on around us and so this led to me joining the parish council in 2024. My career has been spent in FMCG and Retail commercial roles, and in any spare time I embrace being a fairly clueless gardener and ambitiously optimistic DIY-er!
