Park Facilities
Welcome
We welcome everyone to visit and explore Aston Clinton Park. There’s something for everyone with a wide range of ways to spend your day.
If you're looking for a day out with the kids, come and visit our playpark and have a trip to Your Café in the Park. There are plenty of perfect dog walking routes or places to pause and admire the view of Wendover Woods. You could enjoy a picnic or relax in the park with a stroll on one of our many walks. If your feeling more energetic, why not try our skate park, or multi use games area.
We’ve been improving the visitor facilities. The redevelopment of our playpark is now complete, and the centre piece is our brand-new community centre the Red Kite Pavilion where you will find Your Café in the Park.
The Park also facilitates many clubs including a Tennis Club, Bowls Club and Youth Club, please see below further details to enquire about any of these clubs.
The park accommodates visitors by including a large car park, with disabled bays. The Park has also had a newly installed CCTV extension system. Please see below more information for each of our facilities.

The Playpark
Aston Park Playpark is one of the few in the country to offer an integrated play area, for disabled and able-bodied children to use. Children in wheelchairs can use the 'Mandala' roundabout, boat swing and basket swing, alongside able-bodied children. All are asked to be aware of who needs a turn and to use safety harnesses where provided.
NEW 2024 - Dylan Memorial Zipwire
Aston Clinton Park's most recent addition was the installation of a zipwire in memory of the young Dylan Mitchell, which was formally opening on the 5th September 2024.The zipwire is popular with children of all ages. The zipwire is a double cableway which is so much fun and allows children to compete with each other and see who will be the first to the end of the zipwire.
The Skate Park
Aston Park Skate Park is a much-loved facility, well-used by skateboarders, scooter riders and BMX'ers from miles around. The rules are simple: The ramps are to be used for the purpose for which they are intended, and children are not permitted to run up and down the ramps, sit on them or use them as slides. This is for their own safety and everyone else's. Similarly, the parish council has a policy that 3-wheeled 'micro' scooters are not permitted. This follows safety recommendations from RoSPA and allows the older skateboarders, scooters and BMX riders to have a clear run at the ramps. The skate park is a very busy facility, and the rules bring fairness and safety for all.
Multi-Use Games Area
The Park includes a Multi-use Games area available for ball games, football, basketball and netball and it includes five aside football court markings.
All Weather Pitch
The park has an All-Weather Pitch. The Pitch is to be hired out by Aston Clinton Football Club, please contact Aston Clinton Football Club to enquire the use of the pitch. Contact for Vanessa at Aston Clinton Football Club
