New Year, New Me: Grow Your Own in 2026 with an Allotment Plot

As the New Year approaches, many residents are thinking about fresh starts, healthier habits, and new hobbies. What better way to embrace a “New Year, New Me” mindset than by growing your own fruit, vegetables, and flowers on an allotment plot? Allotments offer a fantastic opportunity to get outdoors, stay active, and enjoy the rewards of home-grown produce, whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced gardener.

For the first time, allotment plots are now available to residents living within a 3-mile radius of the parish boundary, widening access and offering more people the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of allotment gardening. Residents interested in applying for a plot are encouraged to review the allotment information page on our website, which provides details about plot availability, terms, and guidance for new plot holders.

If you would like to be considered for a future plot, you can download an application form for the allotment waiting list from our allotment website page. Alternatively, you can request a copy by emailing admin@astonclinton.org and asking the Aston Clinton Parish Council Administrator to send you an application form. Please note we currently have two full plots available!

With limited availability and growing interest, now is the perfect time to plan ahead for 2026. Start the New Year with a positive change and take the first step towards your own allotment plot.
